Adele's story
Adele attended an X-PERT course after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Initially fearful and worried about her diagnosis, Adele embraced and committed herself to the course and says she hasn’t felt this good for 20 years! She has lost 20 kilo’s, halved her medication and is well on her way to remission.

3.4 million people with Type 2 diabetes in England with around 200,000 new diagnoses every year.
One in 15 people in the UK have diabetes, including one million people who have type 2, but haven’t been diagnosed.
About 8 per cent of people with diabetes in the UK have Type 1 diabetes. It’s got nothing to do with diet or lifestyle, it just happens. We’re still not sure what causes it.
